48th Annual Humanitarian Awards Dinner honors Five of Long Beach's Best

Dinner Co-Chairs: Doug Robinson, Vice President, Student Services, CSULB and Rocky Suares, Managing Director-Investment Officer, The Suares Group of Wells Fargo Advisors, emceed CCEJ's 48th Annual Humanitarian Awards Dinner. Recognized for their advancement of the mission of CCEJ, their many civic contributions, and their life long commitment to humankind were: Stephen M. Goodling; presented by Jane Netherton; Amy Lipeles, presented by Gene Lentzner; Chris Steinhauser presented by Felton Williams, School Board Member Ph.D.; and Marlene and Don Temple, presented by Beverly O'Neill, Ed.D.

Also recognized that evening was the California Endowment who received the Building Bridges Award for their many contributions to the Long Beach community through the Building Healthy Communities Initiative, which is investing up to three million dollars a year into Long Beach.
