CCEJ sponsors an annual Interfaith/Intercultural Breakfast where more than 1,000 people celebrate the diversity of southern California, highlighting the various cultures and religions in our communities. Benefactors Gene and Ann Lentzner began their perpetual gift seven years ago helping to underwrite all future CCEJ Interfaith/Intercultural Breakfasts, allowing CCEJ to keep ticket prices affordable.

Keynote speakers have included nationally known civil rights activists such as Craig Kielburger (founder of Free the Children), Prince Cedza Dlamini of Swaziland (grandson of Nelson Mandela) Gerda Weissman Klein (Holocaust Survivor, Author and Historian), Dolores C. Huerta (co-founder of the National Farm Workers Association), Frank Emi (Civil Rights Leader), Dr. Terrence Roberts (Member of the Little Rock Nine), Morris Dees (Attorney and Founder of the Southern Poverty Law Center in Alabama), Phoebe Eng (Attorney and former publisher of A.
