TRAINER & COACH (she/they)
Narges is a Trainer & Coach with the Institutional Transformation Team at the California Conference for Equality & Justice. With nearly a decade of facilitation experience, Narges’ role as a Trainer & Coach empowers them to lead groups towards transformation on both a personal and collective level. Narges is Queer, Neurodivergent, North African, & Muslim and holds all of their identities and lived experiences near as they do the powerful work of bridging the movement of Restorative Justice across time, space, and cultures. As an organizer and advocate for social change, Narges sees deeply the role that cultivating strong relationships has on the success and longevity of movements towards liberation and justice.
Narges models the knowing that we are multidimensional beings with intersecting and often complicated ways of navigating our relationship to this world and our role in shaping it. Narges believes in the power of facilitation in the movement towards meaningful social transformation. She is endlessly curious, intuitive, and explorative in their approach to the work of social change. Grounded in the truth that change is the only constant, Narges strives to face the discomfort of change, whether it be social change, personal change, or where the two intersect, with courage, knowing that another world is always possible. Narges finds joy in movement, cooking, making art and spending time outside.
