VICE PRESIDENT OF YOUTH LEADERSHIP (he/him/his)

Trevor joins CCEJ in 2023 with nearly 10 years of experience in youth program development and design, partnership cultivation, capacity building, and local systems change strategy. He has dedicated his career to elevating youth voice and creating spaces for young people to leverage their leadership to drive community and systems change.

Prior to joining CCEJ, Trevor spent a significant amount of his career serving in leadership roles at a nonprofit based in the San Francisco Bay Area called Fresh Lifelines for Youth (FLY), an award-winning organization working to end the pipeline to prison so all youth can lead healthy, free, and productive lives. In his last role as Director of Growth, Trevor led expansion into FLY's fourth county, which included managing the launch and scale-up of innovative programs, successfully executing state and local funding agreements, and driving overall program impact and outcomes. He has additionally served on several county-wide community and systems change advisory bodies where he partnered with key stakeholders, including elected officials, to reimagine youth justice and ensure a coordinated plan of services for systems-impacted youth.

Demonstrating his commitment to nonprofit leadership, Trevor was nominated and accepted into Tipping Point Community's Emerging Leaders Fellowship in 2018, an intensive cohort-based experience that brought together nonprofit leaders of color across to focus on building organizational leadership style and advancing equity in the nonprofit sector. His passion for racial justice and equity led to him becoming an organizational trainer in critical pedagogy where he supported program leaders, staff, and external partners on how to create space for young people to engage in dialogue regarding issues of power, race, and equity. Trevor holds an M.A. in Forensic Psychology and a B.A. in Justice Studies.
